Silvana region of Iran’s Urmia covered in heavy snow

The Silvana tourist area of Urmia in Iran’s West Azarbaijan Province has been turned white by heavy snowfall during the first winter days.   

Owing to its mountainous climate and beautiful nature, Silvana annually attracts many domestic and foreign tourists.

The springs and lakes that emerge from the melting snow in the highlands have made Silvana one of the best tourist destinations in Iran.

As a region with the cleanest sky, Silvana is the best place for acute respiratory patients.
